Springkell Wedding Photographers
Stories Of I Do are Leeds based wedding photographers, so we had a drive to Springkell Manor, Scotland! It was definitely worth the travel for Sarah and John’s frosty Scottish wedding. Springkell, Eaglesfield is a lovely, private location for a wedding. It was great being Springkell Wedding Photographers for the day.
We get so excited by the opportunities we get as wedding photographers. It is terrific when you get to witness a gorgeous venue and a beautiful couple getting wed. This was our first visit to Springkell, and we loved it. James, the owner of Springkell, was accommodating and creating an incredible wedding venue.
Scotland Wedding Venue
The weather had turned somewhat bitterly cold but the day was dry, beautiful and crisp. Fortunately, with a Springkell wedding, you have no desire to go outside! There were many, many moments of tears, smiles and laughter throughout the day. All the moments a good wedding ought to have in plenty! Their day was so special with a massive wave of love and support for John and Sarah from close family and friend. Sarah was the epitome of elegance and grace in both of her wedding dresses. John looked dashing, as did his groomsmen in their kilts.
Wedding Photography Duo
Their wedding was the perfect wedding to photograph. Fantastic, warm November light and a relaxed and calm atmosphere. They enjoyed every moment of their day and because of that so did we. It was a pleasure to be part of from start to finish. Having spent a fabulous day together, it deserved a big finish! The newlyweds reenacted the Pulp Fiction Dance Scene: ‘You Never Can Tell’ by Chuck Berry. Everyone joined the pair to do the twist!
