Roundhay Park Engagement Shoot
Roisin and Jacob’s Roundhay Park, Leeds Engagement photography was very fun, and we had a relaxed evening walk in the August sunshine. This was a different experience for us because the couple in today's photographs are our friends!
Pre-Wedding Shoot
Jacob asked Roisin to marry him while on a boating trip in the middle of their holiday, taking her by complete surprise! The couple’s Roundhay Park engagement shoot location has much in common with his proposal! Luckily, it was a gorgeous warm day, showing off the beauty of the local nature, architecture and lakes. With such beautiful weather, we were able to spend a couple of hours shooting their portraits and chatting about their upcoming winter wedding!
Leeds Wedding Photographers
Jacob was super nervous about having his picture taken. For many couples, they are not looking forward to being in front of the camera. A pre-wedding shoot was our suggestion, to help ease those wedding day nerves. We started our photographs at the Mansion at the top of Roundhay Park. Roisin’s infectious smiles had the shoot in full swing, and before long Jacob was much more relaxed.
Wedding Photography in Leeds
We always choose to give minimal direction when we shoot – so that the pictures are about the two of you and not about us. Strolling through the park and stopping at good locations to take pictures was the perfect way to spend a couple of hours. We are delighted with the images we got on their Leeds pre-wed shoot. Capturing intimate moments as we walked through wide open spaces and headed to the riverbank to catch the last of the evening light. By the end Jacob was far more confident, twirling Roisin around and telling us that the engagement shoot has made an enormous difference to how he feels about the pictures on the wedding day. We are so glad that it completely took away those nerves!
