Leeds Wedding at Our Lady of Good Concil
In a year that has seen us photographing couples around the country, there was something particularly touching about capturing our friend's local wedding as the final booking for our year. Roisin and Jacob carefully styled their day with help from friends and family and choosing their suppliers carefully to create a fantastic wedding day. Stories Of I Do Wedding Photography was there to capture the day from beginning to end. We loved their fabulous, elegant and classic winter wedding and we do hope you love their photographs as much as we do!
Amazing Winter Wedding
Roisin and Jacob chose Our Lady Of Good Counsel Church, Temple Newsam House and The Irish Centre, York Road, Leeds for their December wedding venues. The ceremony room in the church is just stunning and brightly light. It was clear to see the couples fantastic connection as Roisin walked down the aisle.

After the beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds were showered thoroughly by confetti as they made their way to their classic vintage car! Their confetti was so pretty, and we love all of the happy expressions on the guest's faces as they throw it in the air!

The newlyweds had a short drive on their own as we made our way to Temple Newsam House for their couple portraits. Temple Newsam House is one of Yorkshires most beautiful Country Houses and was the perfect setting for their intimate wedding photographs.

We are lucky enough to be friends with this fun pair so had been looking forward to their day for a long time. We could not wait to photograph their wedding after capturing their summer engagement shoot earlier in the year.
Weddign Reception at Leeds Irish Centre
Throughout the day it was so clear to everyone what a fantastic connection these two have, especially for us during the moments we spent with them on the couple shoot. We knew we had a tremendous backdrop, but we couldn’t have imaged how much personality Roisin and Jacob would inject into the place. It was like watching a fairytale romance. Set in the stunning grounds we were able to capture some flawless, moody portraits on their misty winter day!
Dancing the Night away
We always try to get across the atmosphere and personality of every wedding day we shoot. Roisin and Jacob made our job all the more enjoyable by putting so much of themselves into the day.

They are both passionate about music so we were eager to see how that would play a part in their day. Their ceremony was so beautiful, with a flute performance from a relative for Roisin's entrance and the couple's exit. Table centres and even the wedding cake referred to their love of music. Our favourite musical implement was the live Cèilidh band and dance celebrations in the evening.

It is always fantastic working with amazing suppliers, even more so when they are also the couple's family and friends. Their day was filled with family, friends, laughter, music, dancing and the most beautiful décor. You only get to do it once so you might as well go all out! All the little details were so thoughtful, and everything together added to the impact. There were so many little things for the guests to enjoy!
We couldn’t have been more pleased to see the day run so smoothly and to see Roisin and Jacob having the perfect wedding day. We had such a great time with this down to earth, beautiful couple, and we wish them all the best for their future together!
