Medomsley Wedding Photographers
We have shared wedding photography from weddings located all around the UK. The sun shone on Louise and Wayne's special day at Medomsley, County Durham. A bright day, perfect for romantic moments for the newly married couple. Friends and family joined them for this joyous occasion. Stories Of I Do wedding photography was so happy to capture their glorious day!
Wedding Photography Booking
Louise and Wayne booked us through our website and had a busy schedule with four young children. They were unable to meet beforehand, so their wedding day was the first time we saw each other in person!
Bridal & Groom Preparations
Louise was getting ready at her Mums house. Only a few houses up the road were the couples home where the groom and groomsmen were preparing. Louise and her bridal party were in full swing when I arrived. The room was a buzz of activity. The relaxed bridal party were in high spirits as the makeup artist and hairdresser got to work. Her Uncle ran between both houses, doing jobs and giving pep talks. Making sure everyone was ok and seeing that the day was running smoothly. Louise's daughters, niece, sisters, Aunt and Mum were soon ready, and it was time for Louise to get into her dress.
Wedding at Mary Magdalene Church
Louise arrived at the church in an elegant FX4 Regent. Emotions were running high even before the service. As soon as Louise's sisters saw her in her dress for the first time, they burst into tears. The ceremony was incredibly emotional and moving. There were a few tears from the bridesmaids, family members and quite a few from the bride herself! Always a sign of a good wedding. Their youngest daughter, and beautiful flower girl, did her best to steal the show.
Family Wedding Photography
Outside we captured a particular photograph for the couple. All the children are peeking out from behind a tree.
Wedding Reception at The Demi, Consett - Medomsley
Following the ceremony, the wedding party celebrations continued at their reception. The Demi Consett rugby club had surprised the newlyweds with an inside bouncy castle. Guests enjoyed the photo booth, chocolate fountain and had a bounce! Their beautiful wedding cake was homemade by their Aunt and was delicious. Louise and Wayne finished their wedding with their first dance. Friends and family all joined in, and a family friend sang for the couple. Soon the wedding party took our cameras off us and made us dance too! They know how to have a good time and to have a lot of laughs. We captured Wayne removing Louise's garter before we finished for the night. We were sorry to leave the fantastic party, everyone still dancing the night away.
