Elslack Engagement Shoot
Liz and Scott are so lovely; it was terrific to meet up with them for a short engagement shoot. We caught up with them on their family farm in Elslack a few weeks before their wedding day. The weather for the engagement shoot did not play ball. As we arrived, the wind picked up, as you can probably tell! With their pre-shoot being a family adventure shoot we had to photograph quickly. Their daughter Sophia could not get too cold, but Liz and Scott were keen to have the shots around their farm. It is such a special place for them.
Family Engagement Shoot
We ended up taking a short family walk. Although overcast, the views of the Yorkshire countryside were incredible. While looking back through the photos, it was difficult to choose some of our favourites. We loved meeting their horse who will play a big part on their wedding day. We also enjoyed when Sophia found some muddy puddles to jump in.
Can’t wait to shoot their wedding
The rain began to pour, so Liz and Scott stopped the shoot there. Sophia was getting cold, and we already had a lot of beautiful photographs. We had already taken so many gorgeous shots – both of their little family and their rural location. Their wedding day was to start at the farm with Liz and then continue to their local church. We always like to prepare and know where we will be going on the wedding day so decided to take the time and see the church. We arrived at the Parish Church of All Saints Broughton With Elslack and could not believe our eyes. Have you ever seen a more Yorkshire scene?! We instantly took our cameras out of our bags; it was too good an opportunity to miss.
It was wonderful meeting Liz and Scott. We are so excited to photograph their Yorkshire wedding this summer.
