English Wedding
You know those weddings that are so British, boho, and chic that you can’t help but fall in love with them? That’s exactly how we felt at Ben and Graeme's same-sex wedding on the beach. This effortlessly dapper couple brought style to every inch of their marriage. The day remained casual and approachable. Both grooms lived far away, but it was a perfect fit to start the new phase of their life together in Bude! Their cosy, beachfront ceremony is full of summer wedding inspiration. We were there to capture their story of I do as they exchanged vows. Noticing not only the creative details but the laid-back vibe of the whole day! The wedding took place at the beachfront registry office in Bude.
Homemade touches for a wedding
Ben's dad had constructed everything for the reception. Setting up their marquee in his backyard and filling it with handmade items. Mismatch crockery met a million teapots under their canopy. Gin bottles doubled as table names next to handmade cake-stands for afternoon tea.
It was a wet and wonderful day
The day was such a celebration despite the rain. Guests nearly blew away as they got off the wedding bus and loved wading to the tent in welly boots through the mud! Their beautiful dog was nearby as flowergirl, entertaining all the guests. Their day was one of the most exquisite weddings Stories Of I Do have ever been a part of. Sharing the day with two kind and remarkable families.
