Back at the beginning of spring Stories Of I Do were photographing the beautiful wedding of Anne and Duncan. This cute couple said 'I do' at St Oswald's Church, Leathley North Yorkshire.

We had been looking forward to this one for a while. The day started with us capturing bridal prep and groom prep at nearby locations set in the North Yorkshire Countryside. Anne and Duncan tied the knot at the beautiful, grade 1 listed church in Leathley and chose Stories Of I Do to be their wedding photographers.

Wedding at St Oswald’s Church

We absolutely love this place, it is such a rural and rustic location in Leeds. Being from Leeds ourselves we enjoyed coming back to this stunning venue. Most of the wedding guests were from other parts of the world and so had never visited before. The look on their faces when they arrived was a joy to see!

Bridal and Groom Preparations

Anne walked down the aisle with the accompaniment of the magnificent organ. Duncan is a bit of a joker and always has a smile on his face. He didn’t disappoint when he turned to see his bride walking down the aisle. Anne looked stunning in her dress with a complimentary cascading bouquet.

Wedding Reception at Leathley Village Hall.

Anne and Duncan's wedding reception continued over the road at the Leathley Village Hall. The day was relaxed, charming and had a real focus on what was actually important on their wedding day! The sun was shining, and after the group shots, we took a stroll around the local landmarks. A quiet time to capture a few natural moments with the newlyweds.
